day 3, in which clippy mat goes for a walk in the countryside

i drive over this bridge every morning on my way to work.
the river looks so beautiful surrounded by the fall scenery.
so i thought it would be nice to go for a walk beside it with m.o.h. on sunday.

i drive this big truck every day.
yes, that's me, i'm a mothertrucker.

i was freezing at this point. and i had to pee very badly.
m.o.h. told me to hide in the bushes.
yikes!
a twig hit me on the behind and i thought it was a snake.
it wasn't a pretty sight but luckily i made sure i had the camera safely in my pocket.
you cannot trust some people.
unfortunately i cannot help you if you just made a mental image of that picture.

you will have to click on this picture to see that this is a pear tree.
i looked carefully to see if there was a partridge in it.
but no.
too early for christmas perhaps?

if you click on this picture you will see that there was one leaf left on the very top of the tree.
i waited patiently for it to fall.
but,
it didn't happen.

we saw a lot of really scary wildlife.

i followed my fearless leader over hill and thru dale.
where was he taking me?

is he TRYING to lose me?
where could he be going?

ah, back to civilization.
my hero.

I also never saw a pear tree, but even before I read it, I was looking for the partidge. Scary right???
The walk looks lovely, well not the peeing in the bushes part.
Thanks for sharing. Oh, and watch out for those killer caterpillars. very menacing.

Beautiful scenery, but I loved the way your story ended. ;)

I am very impressed that you didn't pee all over your ankles if you thought you'd been smacked on the botty by a snake.

you never saw a pear tree before??
seriously?
wait, come to think of it, i've only seen a couple myself.
never mind.

it required much skill and dexterity not to pee on my own ankles, especially after i was attacked by a huge hissing serpent, i mean twig.

the ending was the best part.
i'm NOT an outdoor girl.
