This happened last Saturday in the mall where I work. Our classroom is a few yards away upstairs on the mezzanine. If it had happened on a week day then you may have seen me sitting at one of those tables. I'm gutted that they did it on my day off. I absolutely love stuff like this. Anyway, enjoy the view, the amazing singing and imagine me in the crowd.

What the actual fuck!? I made it about 30 seconds in before the tears started. What the hell is wrong with me?!
This was AWESOME! I'm bummed you weren't there, too.
Do you watch Modern Family? They had a flash mob scene last week. It was great!
well, first of all, a message for cheech, honey you are pregnant! thats why you have been so emotional lately.
k, clippy, that really sucks that you missed that. i'm sorry you did, hon.
bastards.
ps
i have never ever seen anything like that, not even in movies... wow... it was awesome and thanks for sharing it on here! i wish our malls would do dat...
Those New York Fries look very good - how much are they for a portion? ;-)
That was wonderful...what a shame it was your day off.
A thought struck me...in the U.K. we always used to stand for the Chorus...bet that would have been a bit confusing if both choir and audience were popping up!
Cheech: It made me feel quite emotional too. :-) I always wanted to see a flash mob and I'm very bummed about missing that.
C: You are nuts! It's official. :-)
Steve: A large is $3.00 but if you're really hungry you can get a great lunch time pizza for $5. Great value. Just stay away from the wok place. Baad. ;-)
My favourite flashmob was in a railway station when everyone pulled out a banana and spoke into it as if it was a phone for exactly two minutes, then put them away at exactly the same time and carried on as if nothing had happened. There was dancing in Liverpool Strret and clapping in a hotal foyer.
We have flashmobbing in Norwich! Love it!
Dead cool - never heard of that before
Fly: It's true it wouldn't work if everyone stood up - it's great how those who are participating just bob up out of nowhere. My daughter in law had just left the mall after doing some shopping last Saturday so if it had been a bit earlier she'd have been there too.
Molly: I think I've seen the one with the bananas. It's such a great fun idea isn't it?
Mark: There's lots of them on Youtube, some really great ones. ;-)
Great stuff! I did think how funny it might have been had the security guards come running in with truncheons and mace (warped mind, sorry).
OH Clippy ! I wish I had see you there as it is a great Flash Mob. When they did the Ohio State Union one I was equally bummed. X.
I LOVE THIS!!!!!!!!
AMAZING.
yes, I meant for that to be in all caps. :)
Oh my gosh. I absolutely LOVE THIS!!
DO you mind if I repost it? I will link it back to you:)
Fabulous.
Pam: Wouldn't it have been great if I'd been sitting there eating me #3 special from the Chinese and the woman next to me stood up and started singing? I'd have lost it for sure. ;-)
SUZ: THAT'S OKAY! I FEEL THE SAME WAY. ;-)
ModernMum: By all means. Please do. :-)
ABSOLUTE CLASS
