Clippy's useful Tips. Number 1

i came across this wonderful tip in my December issue of  Good Housekeeping.
you might find it very useful one day.
i know that it's going to help me out a lot this winter.

Walk Like a Penguin
Gotta cross an icy parking lot to get to your car?  Try the technique recommended by the U.S. Army: Bend your knees a little, point your toes out slightly, and extend your arms out to your sides - then take very short steps or walk with a flat-footed shuffle, keeping your centre of gravity over your feet (not leaning in any direction.)

I can just see you now.
Try doing it with a straight face and without saying "arp, arp"
(isn't that what penguins say?)

Let me know how that works for you.
You're welcome.

Penguins also slide down slopes on their naked bellies. Should I be doing that as well? ;-)

I once went to nightclub at which the dare amongst my friends was to pick a really attractive girl (or boy for the lasses).... then dance like a farmer!
