I'm always full of good intentions and going to change so much about my sad old self come the New Year. But of course, the nature of that beast is that my resolve doesn't last as long as it should, or even 1/2 as long as I would like.
By design my resolutions are doomed to failure it would seem.
I usually have a list of self-improvements to work on, 'less of this, more of that', is the general idea.
But, in spite of my best efforts or desires I am often thwarted before the first week is even out.
So why bother?
Maybe I should just try the George Costanza method instead. I can see the logic in that! Can't hurt can it?

Fabulous! Never really got into Seinfeld as we didn't get to the US till 1999 but every clip I see makes me laugh. If you do decide to make some opposite resolutions, share them with us!
I haven't made resolutions in a while and am thinking this is the year to re-resolute. We'll see. I still have a day to decide.
Hope your shoulder is healing. That looked really painful!
Great! If that bloke isn't suffering from TGA I'm a Dutchman (see blog 18th May.
Happy New Year
Hey, it worked for George...for a while. Happy New Year!
I am so down with that. Lets give it a whirl!!!
This year I will gain 20lbs, live on a diet of deep fried food and not exercise. You know ... this might work!
Popped by to wish you and your family a Happy New Year!!!

Pam: Seinfeld is, in my humble opinion, the best thing that happened to U.S. TV in the last century. I hope you get to watch some of it at some point. The re-runs are still on.
My opposite resolutions will very closely resemble Crazy Mo's... see below. it might just work. fingers crossed.
Hi Laura/Smileygirl: I hope your resolutions are easy ones.... they're a bit pointless really aren't they? But I suppose we have to stop and take stock sometimes right?
Ken: TGA? I'll have to pop over and check out your May blogs to see what that refers to.
Happy New Year to you too.
Mrs. G: and Happy New Year to you too.
Suz:
