a day for Owen

you might think this is the pillsbury dough boy.
but it's not.
it's Owen.
or
Owie as we like to call him.
 pronounced 'oh-wee'.
he's 6 months old
he's waited for his aunty jenn to come over from england so she can be his godmother and so today is his christening.
now this is sort of a before picture.
he got the christening outfit a couple of months ago and this was him trying it on for size.
he's a big lad so we werent sure it would still fit him now.
but it does.
he just grew into it a bit more.
and we shall have several very cute pictures of him today wearing it.
we think he's just about got his first tooth.
and he smiles the whole time.
really.

what a little angel.
:-)

Ah, I am crying. I must be a wee bit emotional on this special day for Owie. That and I am so happy Jenny is here to be his godmother that it makes me happy with tears. It will be a great day with wonderful family and friends xoxo

I think I'm in love. That outfit is perfect - so adorable! He will love seeing that photo in his high school yearbook when he is graduating. Happy christening to all of the family, and God bless Owen.
