It's not how you start, it's how you finish....

Steve said I'd hit the wall. he was right.

and i can't stand those people who give up before the end.
when i'm watching any one of those reality shows which i am unfortunately, (don't hate me) addicted to, i always root for the underdog when there seems no chance of them making it to the end.
amazing race contestants i've detested all the way thru who start to show their human side a little and then turn themselves around?
i'm in their corner.
the guy with the two left feet on dancing with the stars?
he's got my vote.
the one on survivor who has lost the most weight, looks like death, whined the most and generally made me want to throw something at the tv every week?
well just when he says 'enough', that's when i'm saying, 'more.'

so i hit the wall but i'm not done yet.
it's just that monday night.
i cooked and then cleaned up the kitchen after dinner.
put some laundry in and got my clothes ready for work the next day.
did the ironing.
made my lunch for work in the morning.
read the paper.
tried the sudoko but it was a hard one so i only got 1/2 done, couldn't finish.
brain was tired.
so, watched tv.
then.
time for bed.
and then i remembered.
i hadn't done anything about my post for tuesday.
and i thought,
right, that's it, i'm done!
i'm not bloody superwoman.
forget it!

but
where there's life there's hope right?
and where somebody falls just before the finish line
there's always somebody who wills you on.
and that's YOU!

cue the schmaltzy music.....

voiceover...

so i've picked myself up,
dusted myself off
and am back on the straight and narrow,
facing forward to the end of november.
with my chin up, chest out.
and head held high
put that champagne on ice.
ready the fireworks....

fade music.
end credits.

see you tomorrow.
