"A man's face is his autobiography".

Ooh look at me posting with capital letters.
That's a first.
I just thought I'd change it up a bit.
Because I can.
Because that's the kind of blogger I am.
I don't know if  I will keep it up because to be honest it's really boring pressing that shift key every two seconds.
But I thought I'd just give it a go for this post only.
As a sort of 'extra' to my blogging every day.

Well here we are almost at the end of the first week.
Almost.
I know.
Not quite.
How's it going for you?

You didn't think I would keep it up did you?
Oh ye of little faith.
But I did actually start before the beginning of the month and so far I'm in a good routine.
I write something every night and then I schedule it to be posted at 6 a.m. the following day.
Get me!

Now today's post(which of course I'm writing the night before) is a bit of a hodge podge.
I've just finished the ironing and had myself a glass of wine.
Living life on the edge.
But because it's technically not the weekend yet I spritzed that wine with a little something; in case you get the impression I'm over indulging on a week night.
As if.
I mean for most people it's NOT the weekend yet, but for me it is because Fridays are my day off.
I know.
How great is that?
I have the best job in the world.
I only work four days a week.
So anyway.
Seeing as I'm using capitals and that I thought I'd mention the book above.
Because it's only proper to use capitals for someone's name right?

Keith Richards' autobiography.
I want to read it.
I don't think I'm going to buy it tho'.
I passed the book store the other day with my co-worker.
It was on display in the doorway.
"OOh I want to read that." says I grabbing a copy from the cardboard thingy where Keith's ugly mug was scowling out at us.
"Ugh." my co-worker sneered. "I don't think that will be necessary."
"Why?" says I.
"Because you just have to look at that man's face to see what kind of a life HE's led."

That took the wind out of my sails.
I couldn't disagree.
It's written all over it isn't it?

I'll wait till it's on the reduced shelf in a month or so.

Stone Me: The Wit and Wisdom of Keith Richards
Then I might read this one.

Notice how it says, "The wit and wisdom of Keith Richards"?
I might see if that one's in the library.

You crap me up, you nutball! I'm totally impressed with your skillful use of the shift key for this post! Look at you go!

I, too, was doing my posts the night before and scheduling them for 6am the next day. Wow, great minds REALLY do think alike!! tee hee!

OH MY GOD!! That's supposed to say 'crack' me up!! What the hell?!?!

I want to read that autobio, too, and was just giving thanks for the public library - not going to want to keep a copy of it here, I'm sure. Though I hear it has a recipe in it...
Loved your make-up posting below. I prefer no makeup here at home, but for going out? Yes, Ma'am, I'll take a bit of that with me. In fact, I just invested in a new "foundation" (that natural, mineral stuff) to see whether it would work well for me. So far, so good, both times. =)

Crap you up?
LOL
Freudian slip? I hope not Cheech.
I hope not.

Karen:
A recipe? In Keef's book? It must be for 'hash brownies' I'm guessing.

So if the book is about his wit and wisdom, the entire book is fiction? I thought it was supposed to be autobiographical. Maybe it is as he in his stupor sees himself. Huh.

Clippy Mat said...

T.Babe: His autobiography is called LIFE but the wit and wisdom one.... I have no clue. I'm going to have to track it down to find out what it's all about.

Apologies - I see what you mean now - capital letters at the beginning of the sentence. I was looking for A WHOLE BLOG SHOUTING LIKE THIS!

I'll just shuffle off quietly...

Clippy Mat said...

Mark: come on now, get going, I'll be over there to check. ;-)

Trish: LOL a full post of SHOUTING! as if, wait

Congrats on the capital letters. You are a grown up now. :)
I think his book would be interesting to read. I just never make the time to read...so if you read it, just give me a synopsis of the important points. Ok???

Clippy Mat said...

Suz: I can give you a brief synopsis of it NOW and I haven't even read it. He took a LOT of drugs, played a lot of venues, took more drugs, wrote a lot of songs, took more drugs....
You get the picture?
;-)

I want to read to too! I read Ozzy's book this summer and loved it and he said that Keith and Lenny from Motorhead did miles more drugs than even he did, so I was to see just how that is possible!! These guys are rock stars in my book and very funny. Can't wait to read it.
I'm so glad you are blogging every day too - it's like popping over for a brew without the brew. You know what I mean.

I read Ozzy's book too. Well I had it as an audio book and it was read by Frank Skinner. It sort of spoiled it for me I wanted Ozzy to read it but I realized he probably couldn't cope with it. Bless him.
